Linda Lake comes back to Smallville and blackmails Clark to undercover his true identity. However Clark decides he will reveal his secret by himself. A fanatic teenager fakes a fall so Clark saves her.

Freeman plays the new CEO of LuthorCorp, Tess Mercer on season eight of
CW’s Smallville. With Lex Luthor (Michael Rosenbaum) missing, Tess is in
charge of all things LuthorCorp, which includes the Daily Planet. She
quickly develops a rivalry with Lois Lane (Erica Durance) and takes up an
interest in Clark (Tom Welling) that could prove to be very dangerous.

“Legion” (8×11) airs January 15th, 2009 on the CW.

“Legion” will pick up right where “Bride” left off in 2008 and show us the aftermath of Chloe and Jimmy’s wedding, while “Bulletproof” will take us back to Metropolis with an undercover Clark Kent.

DC COMICS’ LEGION OF SUPER-HEROES ARRIVE IN SMALLVILLE FROM THE FUTURE TO HELP CLARK STOP BRAINIAC AND THE PERSUADER — The aftermath of Doomsday’s attack on Chloe and Jimmy’s wedding leaves Clark in shock, but before he can search for the kidnapped Chloe, The Persuader (guest star Fraser Aithceson) appears and attacks him. Rokk (guest star Ryan Kennedy), Imra (guest star Alexz Johnson) and Garth (guest star Calum Worthy), also known as The Legion, step in from the future to help vanquish the Persuader and the group realizes Brainiac has taken over Chloe once again. Meanwhile, up at the Fortress, Chloe, as Brainiac, informs Davis he is Doomsday and was created to kill “the other Kryptonian” and destroy the world. Written by Geoff Johns. JOHN JONES IS SHOT — Clark discovers John Jones (guest star Phil Morris) was shot while working as a police officer, so Clark dons the uniform and goes undercover to find the culprit. Meanwhile, Lana confronts Tess and tells her Lex isn’t the man she thinks he is. Lana’s shocking news forces Tess to reevaluate her position as the head of Luthorcorp. Written by Bryan Q. Miller.
